March 13: Birthday of American writer and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard. He is the most translated author in the world, with 71 languages, and the most published with 1,084 different works, as certified by Guinness World Records in October 2006. Hubbard's works comprise over 500 writings and 3,000 recorded lectures. His biggest best seller is the number 1 self-improvement book Dianetics. He is also the founder of the applied religious philosophy Scientology.

The Spirit of the Season

We had a great time at the Holiday party at the Mission. It's really nice to see old friends and new faces and generally make merry.
